Before Watchmen
Alright. Here’s the way I see it.
1. No one is forcing you to read these titles. If all you want is the world that is contained in the pages written by Alan Moore and drawn by Dave Gibbons. That’s fine.
2. All they’re really doing is expanding on the already great characters that Moore created.
3. They’re putting some of their best writers and artists on these books. This means they’re not taking it lightly.
If you don’t want more stories in the Watchmen universe, don’t read these books. You won’t die just because these are getting made.
Whilst I haven’t seen much rage yet (mostly because I’ve only backread about 3 pages), this is what I think. If you don’t want it, don’t read it.
